Our mission is to ensure that every veteran has a safe place to call home. To support our mission, we provide grants and volunteer resources to a number of local and national nonprofit organizations who share our passion to serve U.S. military veterans and their families. If you are a veteran in need of housing assistance, we encourage you to contact the following organizations directly.
Please note that as a corporate foundation, we are required to direct our resources to nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations, not to individuals. However, we’ve worked hard to identify nonprofits with the most impact in helping veterans with housing issues in communities across the country, and we hope that one of them can serve your needs.
Most importantly, thank you for your service to our country. We are honored to support U.S. military veterans and their families!

Government Resources
There are many government resources which are aimed at helping veterans and their families get the resources they need. Following is a sampling of those resources.
- The National Resource Directory (NRD) is a website maintained in partnership among the Departments of Defense, Labor and Veterans Affairs for connecting wounded warriors, service members, veterans, and their families with those who support them. It provides access to services and resources at the national, state and local levels to support recovery, rehabilitation and community reintegration.
- National Call Center for Homeless Veterans hotline ensures that homeless veterans or veterans at-risk for homelessness have free, 24/7 access to trained counselors. The hotline is intended to assist homeless veterans and their families, VA Medical Centers, federal, state and local partners, community agencies, service providers and others in the community. To be connected with a trained VA staff member call 1-877-4AID VET (877-424-3838).
- VA Caregiver Support provides resources and assistance to the millions unpaid adults who provide care to elderly and disabled veterans. The VA recognizes that being a caregiver requires dedication, compassion, and resilience, and so it offer valuable resources which will help caregivers balance their lives and ease the burden of the extraordinary care they provide every day. Resources can also be accessed by calling the VA Caregiver Support Line at 1-855-260-3274
- The VA has established a national hotline to ensure veterans in emotional crisis have free, 24/7 access to trained counselors. Veterans Crisis Line provides suicide prevention coordinators, general inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services at medical centers and community-based outpatient clinics. Service members, veterans and family members can call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) and press “1” to access counselors specially trained for their concerns.
- The VA has launched a new website, Make the Connection, that connects veterans and their friends and family members with information, resources, and solutions to issues affecting their health, well-being, and everyday lives.
