February 2, 2010 The Home Depot Foundation Announces 2009 Fiscal and Community Impact Results: Donations Exceed $74M to Over 5,000 Nonprofits

The Home Depot Foundation and The Home Depot are partnering with Western Union and have made a $200,000 donation to the American Red Cross for their relief efforts in Haiti. In addition, The Home Depot Foundation is matching individual gifts up to $1,000 from The Home Depot’s associates to disaster relief organizations that are assisting in this effort.

We will remain in touch with the American Red Cross and other relief agencies to assess the situation and determine how else we might be able to help.
