Telleha Howard
Grants Supervisor

Telleha recently joined The Home Depot Foundation as grants supervisor. In this role, she is responsible for administering the online Housing Impact Grants program for the Foundation. Previously, Telleha served The Home Depot as grants coordinator for the organization’s Community Affairs department where she was the recipient of the Orange Blooded Award in 2007 for her role in the development of the online grants program that allowed The Home Depot to grant more than $2.5 million to more than 1,000 nonprofit organizations across North America.

Prior to The Home Depot, Telleha served the San Francisco Bay area as the assistant coordinator/program assistant for the West Oakland Initiative at the San Francisco Foundation. There she assisted with the implementation of the 7th Street McClymonds Neighborhood comprehensive plan in West Oakland, Calif. Telleha also spent time as the program assistant at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts and as a youth advocate at the Mission Hill Community Centers in Roxbury, Mass.

A native of Springfield, Mass., Telleha holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Currently serving as president of the High Point Commons homeowners association, she is an active volunteer at Sheltering Arms Daycare in College Park, Ga. and Liberty Point Elementary School in Union City, Ga. where she resides with her husband and two sons.
